4G LTE WiMAX
Which is the right one? WiMAX or LTE?
First was the Yes 4G.
P1 WiMAX renamed to P1 4G to jump into the 4G bandwagon.
What is 4G anyway?
A lot of us confused with the term 4G. Don’t let it scheme you around. 4G by definition means “4th generation”. It is suppose to be the next step up in the mobile Internet speed from 2 megabits per second (Mbps) up the scale to 1Gbps.
4G will change the way the mobile Internet works.
Latest 4G revision enables to reach 1Gbps for both WiMAX and LTE. There are few type of 4G technologies namely the said WiMAX, LTE and also HSPA+. Most local telco deploying HSPA+ except for the two telcos who have been awarded the WIMAX license. As the trend moving towards LTE, I strongly believed that WiMAX will eventually phased out.
Simple reason why LTE will make it instead of WiMAX?
The combination of LTE’s increased spectral efficiency and flexibility, added capacity, and simpler network architecture should offer a very cost effective value proposition.
Meantime, WiMAX is being omitted
