After This Our Exile
First and foremost, I would like to congratulate to one of the bloggers, dS for being a father on 11th January 2007. When dS shared with me the link to his blog with the title “hello world” i thought he managed to learn a new programming language or sort. Just as the page loaded, so “kiut” / cute the baby is. Small and fragile. Innocent and sweet. Fresh meat somemore.
Just drop by to congratulate him.
For dS, Congratulation
For dW, Congratulation too.
For lil dS, Welcome to the world.
Secondly, what was the main story was the fact the movie as mentioned in my title above. After watching the movie from a locally produced DVD which was filmed locally, it really reflecting something so real, so vivid that really happens in our society. Flimed in Ipoh, starring Charlie Yeung, Aaron Kwok and kelly Lin, one of the best breakthrough was mainly from Aaron himself.
And the liltle kid playing Aaron Kwok’s son was way beyond expectation. Malaysia Boleh you know? damn innocent look. But the overall story is captivating. With a little hot and steamy scenes that makes your imagination go wild. What set me to love this film is how the director actually building the characters with numerous number of flashback. Cutting them too short really missing all the fun. Even my edition does not show Eric Tsang in any scene. Dissapointing.
However, deep beneath me I am enjoying the emotions that run through the entire film itself. From a innocent child who so in love with his parents. Even his mother decided to leave his dad, and his dad even instructed him to learn to steal, yet he remains to be a good son. Follow him where ever he goes. Finally at the near end of the story, Aaron Kwok had a flashback what happened to him and his son after his son being caught for stealing. The man realised that he failed his duty as a father figure. Realising that everything was too late.
