Just this afternoon, I was having my lunch after hours and hours of torments from the bi-weekly sales meeting. It was dragged way toward lunch time. I know that I do contribute to the extended hour but same goes to the Avaya Nortel webinar update.

So just as soon as the meeting adjourned, we quickly left the office to get our lunch. Went to the Nasi Kandar Hamid to grab some bites. Normal stuff that comes with meat, vegetables and egg. Somehow the conversation on the table seems to be in 2 group. On my left were 2 Malay colleagues and a Chinese colleague talking about diet, coffee and healthy meal.

While on my right were the 3 Chinese ladies from my Sales Department talking about slimming and diets. One of them went for the slimming center somewhere in the golden triangle for a hefty fees just for 5 slimming sessions. On top of that, she had to take care of her meal intake per day. Plus she also started to play bedminton badminton! That’s what she claimed been doing. We should give her the benefit of doubt.

I was just playing a listener role listening to their conversation. One of them commented about diet with consuming the tablets. It was said that the tablets is good to replace the meal and hence, one will feel full. Just occasionally take some fruits in the afternoon.

I wouldn’t be surprise at all as the third revolutionary that is coming and hitting us is the health care industry or it has been. Last week, my vendor was telling me about the korean ginseng that he have been consuming. He said that it was very good. Producing boost to his immune system and become stronger. No need to use tongkat ali at all. So he urge me to go to the website and take a look at the product he have been consuming. Trying to sell the idea to me? Hehe…

But then again, how many of us are sure of that the food that we consume are nutritious? Watch “Food Inc” then.
