Cheating in Marriage
A man, given in any position will cheat. That is the generalization of the men today. Agree or disagree all boils down to the value system. A client told me that if any man that been stepping into Fortuna Hotel, Ho Chi Minh will get an erection as long as he is straight. He was trying to tell me that the girls there are such angelic face trapped in the devil body.
So there is this man, going at the peak of his career cheated behind his wife. Reason was simple, he hang out with the wrong crowd. His peers are the dodgy joint goer. He get along well with his peers and soon, hook up with the working lady there. It then continued with the phone calls, text messaging. Sort of sneaking around.
Wife found out. Drama ensued. The in-laws comforted the wife. Patch back the marriage. A new life begins. It was as nothing has happened. To put these all behind, the couple decided to leave this country for a greener pasture. One year down the road, they came back. The business venture died. Money lost. It was a disaster.
Resuming the what supposed, the husband and wife had jobs. The bad economic situation has affected their lives. Few years goes by. The husband lost faith and no longer motivated to make a decent living. It seems to be a daily motion. Routine tasks while the wife putting all she had for the family. The wife wanted to improve their standard of living rather than going through the motion. Along the way, there are some guys hitting on the wife. Temptations. Separation for a while. Then they patch back as like nothing happened.
A few years gone by then. The wife can’t take it. Decided to call it off. Husband has no say. The paper was signed. Now, all I get to see was the random music video on my Facebook wall. The husband couldn’t get back up. He was defeated from the very beginning.
In the beginning, I thought I wanted to write about the cheating in marriage. Ended up I was feeling devastated to see the husband this way. A man lost his sight. If you look upon a man, look up in his value system first.
