it never rains
The rain was heavy as I leaving the customer premise. Clinging to my backpack, I stride through the heavy rain getting drenched. My biggest worried is whether the same thing will happened to my notebook?
As I take each steps walking toward to the Weld, it reminds me of the good old days. Back to the time when there was another cat and dogs rain. Traffic was badly congested that we cannot simply get the public transport to bring us back to Setapak. We could hear the thunderstorm outside of the shop lot above. Below was the bulk market selling daily goods.
As the clock strikes five, my friends and I ended up rushing down the stairs with the only objective in mind. That is heading toward the bus station as soon as possible in order to get the earlier bus back to Setapak before the larger crowd gathered.
Only occasion of the time where we have waited for hours for the bus to come by, we then and there opted to walk home. Thus, we ended up covered in rain as we paved the path from the downtown at Leboh Ampang all the way back to Jalan Pahang. I still remember that Wilson and Kelvin were the buddies that been through those times.
When I reached home, most of the books ended up wet. It took whole night to let it dry, if it is dried up. The feel good feeling of the school time came to me like a flashback exception that I was not doing my life playback otherwise I would considered as I am dying. It was that significant time where nothing else really matters. We travelled from Leboh Ampang, Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman heading towards Jalan Chow Kit and into Jalan Pahang. Along the way, we looked at the cramped bus Len Seng. Back then the bus was not air conditioned.
Thinking back of the good old school days was a good remembrance. In fact, last night when I met up with Darren after these few years brings back the time when we were all kids. All were young and innocent, sort of. But that does not make the wrong seem right especially on my action towards him back in the tuition centre. I could not even understand how the hell I manage to coax the tutor to hand over his microphone so I could say something embarrassing about Darren. Both of us ended up fighting down the street.
I could not simply bring this matter yet in front of his wife last night.
Bruce was surprise that Darren bring his wife over last night when he thought it was only guys night. So Darren, congratulations! Tiffany will be blessed having you as the husband.
