Jack Welch is a man with strict and defined rules. I never even liked him because I never knew the person behind General Electric.
This book of his was often quoted in the management training. His methodology in managing the people under him often being used as a reference. Hence, getting this book to read is seems deemed appropriate.
Inside this book shares about his tenure as from employee of GE to the CEO of the company. How he turn the company around, change the management and so on. Part of it was the infamous Six Sigma.
And he likes it no better than winning. Because that is all that matters to him.
