Lunch at Pudu
I was busy with twitting, facebook and msn-ing doing report, monthly claims and updating my pipelines when a colleague of mine asked for help. She wanted to submit her tender in Jalan Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka so get me to fetch her there. It was 38 minutes to 12 noon.
With that, I picked her up and off we headed to her customer place. I was driving in a hurry to beat the time. It was a race against the time. Even my car isn’t like Wingz‘s silly car or Eric‘s goof car, Cik Siti made herself useful overtaking few cars behind along Jalan Loke Yew. She behaved well on the road and managed to drop my colleague to run across the road while I take my sweet time making a huge U-turn at the Sg Besi.
She was happily submit the tender at the nick of time. Because of that we went over for lunch in Jalan Pasar. Her treat. She recommended me this Claypot Chicken Rice Heun Kee
We ordered a medium size claypot chicken at RM15. Not pricey as the portion was huge. Plenty of chicken meats to feast on.

To go with the claypot rice is my favourite soup – Pork Belly with Pepper soup. Not that fascinating but it served me well to kick start for the week. I want to eat bak kut teh now that I am writing this. Somehow I am drooling for the pork intestines. Sluuurrrrpppssss~!

Look at the larp cheong. Yummy. Tender meat, soft with a tinge of burnt rice. I had the black burnt rice which was crisp. That’s the cancer for health conscious people.

Total Damage? RM39
RM15 for Medium Claypot Chicken
RM11 for Medium Pork Belly Pepper Soup
RM 7 for the vegetable
RM 6 for 3 glasses of drinks.
