NTV7 Series : Crossings
I turn up early. Trying to avoid the hectic traffic between the PJ and KL. Sometimes, you ended up spending hours of commuting from one place to another. Especially if you are the one behind the wheel, nothing you can do about it.

When I got the invitation to attend a premier screening of the NTV7′s latest series “CROSSINGS”, I was excited to go there. Met up with Michael Yip for the first time. There wasn’t anyone that I know except for Mike through twitter and Linora. So from 7pm sharp event started late at 8.19pm after awaiting the VIPs, the pilot episode commences. At the Jaya One, the PJ Live Art Theatre is a little disappoinment. The sounds system was bad. At least the humorous CROSSINGS make up for it. I find it entertaining despite the fact that the concept is a little too common and stale. The similar concept was adopted in few TV series back in the 80s.
But the good thing is that Kash Pictures has done some localization, so making it much better to watch.

A dark comedy – tailoring with the concept “A Man In The Mirror” was about the loser Bob Boroi played by Zakizamani Osman who is also the producer and scriptwriter for this series, had the capability to see the dead in reflection of himself. Often bossed around by Ms. Merlin played by Nina Sharil Kham, he also was the subject of office victim by both Anthony ‘Antoine’ (Xavier Fong) as the office drama queen and Brenda (Ruzana Ibrahim) the manipulative office beauty.
What I like about this series is that they do not restrict the script to confine at the English itself. With localization, everyone had a good laugh when Bob speaks in Punjabi. I personally can’t wait to watch the 2nd episode next Friday. I heard Linora make an appearance there as well.
