Potato Peel Pie
With a little less hectic in my schedule, I managed to put some time a bit part of my sleep time to read The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society which I bought it some time ago. It was pretty much covered with plastic cover. Untouched.
So when I started, it was a little confusing. The novel was all about correspondence. It sort of narrative in a way that you are reading their conversation exception it is through the letters. Hence, the entire correspondence was focusing on this author known as Juliet Ashton whom in the midst of writing a new book. The new book was about the German Occupation and yet revolving around this magnificent lady by the name of Elizabeth.

Altogether, the story was good. With some humor in it, I was smirking my way. Especially on the silliness of Isola. It’s a good book and recommended for those who wanted an easy read.
Nonetheless, this novel is the author first and final as Mary Ann Shaffer demise on February 2008 and it was completed by her niece.
