So It Begins
It’s been a while now. Hiatus. For close to a month now. Missing in action. In fact, I was pretty tied up after I left the company. Not with the new job yet but rather the personal stuff. After working 5 years there, I took a 2 weeks break just to rejuvenate and refill my tank before the next journey.
So it begins earlier this week. A new job. A new role. After this week at this new company, it was totally different. Sad to say, I feel like a brand new leaf. Not to say that the former job wasn’t good. It was. I remember that last time when I was involved in network marketing aka MLM, I was told that in any career advancement, just look at the company organization chart. If you can envision yourself where is your place 5 years from now, then good for you. Else… time to consider a change.
After that when I joined the former company, my first superior Ms. Cat told me if you been in a company more than 5 years and never progress, it is time to make a change. Hence, I remember it so clearly like the advise was given yesterday.
Not to offense anyone but it was true. There wasn’t much room to advance in the former company. All the decision making were at the management level. There wasn’t much empowerment. Too much roadblock within the organization itself.
Nonetheless, I do feel grateful for the teachings and guidance by my former superior Ms. Lai. She taught me a lot in sales. Now when I am in this new company, I realized she was preparing me for my future undertakings. If she never on board in the former company, I don’t think I can handle what I am doing today. 
This whole evening, I have been thinking what to do, if she were in my shoe. Haha.. being business development role is tough.
Whatever it going to happens, bring it on!! ROAR!!! 
and I am back on track!
