Maxis and Astro – Mobile Sci-Fi Premiere Screening
KUALA LUMPUR – A first of its kind from Maxis and Astro, a joint collaboration to produce Malaysia’s first made-for-mobile sc-fi series – Dimensions. The premiere screening was held over The Palace at Sheraton Imperial Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday, 12th November 2009.
Dimensions
Dimensionsis created exclusively for the Maxis and Hotlink subscibers via 3G and also viewed on its website through online platforms. Starred by the local talents, Dimensions is an interactive adventure filmed entirely on location in and around Kuala Lumpur. The first episode entitled “Correlations” was enough for me to label as fast-paced and intense in all 11-episode series. This sci-fi thriller reinvents the myths and legends of Malaysia, and lure audiences from the streets of KL into the 130 million-year-old rainforest that surrounds and dissents it, amongts ancient spirits of animist tales such as bunian, orang minyak and much more.
Some of the stars lineup include Dhanya Nambiar, Nurinmawati I, Lingam, Nur Hazwani, Oliver Johanan, Pak Muda, Ammar Alfian Aziz, Alias, Ben Tan, Jehan Miskin, Anne James, Justin Chan and many more.
