The Tipping Point
After I finished the book, “Outliers” I decided to finish up the “The Tipping Point – How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference”.
Likewise with his writings, the author Malcolm Gladwell dwells in the singularity of the issue. He examines the culture of the Hush Puppies from a small to international brand that making millions dollar annually. He wrote that the culture was epidemic. Starting from small numbers of urbanites until it catches on fire into the runway. It seems as the culture took off at the certain tipping point.
So, clearly his book was mentioning the small little things that sometimes we did not pay attention to. From that small things it turn out to be the tipping point once it reached its critical mass. Sounds like physics.
After reading this ‘Tipping Point’ I felt that the idea and the basic drive for this book it splendidly good. No doubt that Malcolm is a good writer. He prose and eloquently good with his writing skills which I came to envy about. Nonetheless, the book was considered information overloaded where by I don’t get how he trying to jive the entire several ideas and laws together. Maybe it’s not him, it’s just me.
But above all, I like the part where he shared about the tipping point to make it an epidemic hooha. It just gives me the right idea. That’s all.
