Unscathed. Almost. Nope.
The sound of the rubber tyres against the pavement of the streets, was clearly audiable coming from the wet road after the rain.
At this odd hour, the street seem to be quiet. A few cars were seen on the street. A street car named melancholy was cruising along the street. Weaving it’s way from left to right, and from right to left.
As the skies was bitter dark, the street lamps were beyond it’s function. Attention drew from the current towards inwards. Assumption were made. Thoughts were running by itself. Imagination played it’s role.
The span were thankfully short. The heart fell. The sound of the heart beating suddenly amplified. Emotion sank deep. So deep that it’s bottomless. It was a split second decision.
One of it had full of potential to discover and the other seems to had one of the feet into the coffin. A second on to bring halt of the momentum, was potentially a fiasco while steering it away from the actual course. Short screeching sound and then return to it’s path again.
Adrenalin was pumping through the body. Escaped unscathed. An almost encounter. Thank the Lord.
ps. Nope. The answer is no.
