The mind trap.. yeah, right. I recalled that a story told by someone. It’s about how we get used to the situation. It is more of like below :-
Mr X : can you tell me if I will be wealthy at the age of 30? (note that he’s in his 20s)
FT (fortune-teller) : No. You won’t
Mr X : then how about when I am 40 years old. Should be about time then.
FT : No. You won’t.
Mr X : ok lah.. if i can live up to 50 years old, will i be rich then?
FT : Ehm… you won’t be poor.
Mr X : huh? (excitedly exclaimed) Then I will be rich right? Got lots of money ah?
FT : No. You are not poor doesn’t mean that you are rich. Slightly below average or in mid range.
Mr X : U know why ah?
FT : You eventually get used to it.
Mr X : -_-”’
There you go. Trap inside his own mind at the end of his life. :p
