Wedding Dinner Outcome

After a score and ten, I have attended quite a number of the wedding dinners. Different kind, from Central to Northern and even to Southern of Peninsula Malaysia. I can’t remember the exact figure but indeed it’s quite a repetitive function to say the least.

I attended the former colleague wedding dinner once and I had to make a move to another event. Thus, I asked Eric when should I make my move. He told me after the shark fin which is usually the second dish. I stayed around until the second dish and was served a crab meat soup with maw fish something. A replacement for shark fin since it’s for the awareness, preserving the shark. I left the place after that. Kind of sucks right I mean being there just for a while. I have another place to go to which is important to me. Well, it turns out to be otherwise.

1 week or two down the road, another wedding dinner. This time around, it is rather amusing. I arrived early because to beat the lacking of car park space. Almost walk into the wrong wedding dinner due to the pretty girls out there. It was located at the first floor. Two things I learn from the wedding dinner.

Point one. It’s a wedding. Not a Grammy-Awards-lookalike. It felt weird when you have to stand at the background such as these and getting photographed at. It was awkward if you were alone.

Point two. You do need to give out money to gain the attention of the guests. There were a few short quiz where by the emcee throw out some questions. Whoever can answer will be rewarded with RM200. The highlight of the day? RM800 for the final question – name of the first child.

There is one in November that I kind of looking forward to attend. Simply because it has been a while since I last met the couple. I find the culture simply amusing icon wink Wedding Dinner Outcome
