What is Marriage?
It is a monogamy thingy in spite of what we have here. A man can have 4 wives. Let’s not dwell in that exceptional case but for the common of all, the marriage is the process by which two person who love each other make their relationship public, official, and permanent – by the legal laws too.
It’s not just a paper thing. It is the joining of two people in a bond become one to last till ‘death do us part’, but in reality it is increasingly cut short by the divorce rate. In the course of the relationship that can last as long as we know, a lot happens. Personalities change, bodies aging and romantic love slowly fade off. Not a single marriage is conflict-free. But it is up to us how to endure and handle that conflict that inevitably arise.
I read an article stating that divorce has become a commonplace. What stated was the relationship nowadays seems fragile. Some doesn’t even last for 3 years as compared to the 7-year itch. We can now supplement it with 3-years glitch as mentioned.
Which land on Earth doesn’t get rain? Even for each marriage comes with challenges. The death of child, financial burdens, the spouse of losing a job, serious health issues, to name only a few. These challenges in marriages in respect makes it stronger. When both deal with it as a team. Together. Never underestimate the power of challenge to the establishment of a great and lasting marriage.
